Step 1: Stand with your feet together and have someone give you a gentle push from behind.
Step 2: As you start to lose your balance, notice which foot you put forward to catch yourself.
Left foot forward = regular footer
Right foot forward = goofy footer
Step 3: Another way to tell is to think about which foot feels more comfortable in front when you’re standing still.
Left foot = regular footer
Right foot = goofy footer
